The flow triggers automatically whenever a new customer is created in Shopify, capturing identity, contact, and default address details.
Check existing SAP business partner
SAP S/4HANA is queried using the Shopify Customer ID as a stable external reference to determine if a Business Partner already exists.
Create business partner as person
If no match is found, a new Business Partner with category Person is created in SAP with mapped name, language, address, email, and phone details.
Assign customer sales roles
Required customer and Sold-To roles are assigned to the Business Partner, making it usable for sales order processing.
Apply address strategy
Only the default Shopify address is stored during creation to ensure clean and controlled master data.
